Every so often, I'll take my camera and a couple of lenses and spend some time in our small backyard garden. I try to capture the plants in various stages of growth, usually in soft morning light. This garden project has helped me to slow down my photographic process. I'll spend a good amount of time photographing one single plant. Sometimes the resident spiders will cast a web from my camera strap to a flower. I've also witnessed a fiddlehead unravel into a small fern. I'll continue to add to this project every season.
